When Elite Is Part Of Your Company Name,
Your Workmanship Better Measure Up!

At Elite Construction, Our In-House Team And
Subcontractors Answer To Higher Standards

Spending your hard-earned money on construction and roofing in Denver is a big deal. Not only do you want the work done in a timely manner and at a fair cost. You want it done right.

This isn’t always as easy as it seems. Why?

Most local companies rely on subcontractors who specialize in particular types of projects. This approach has many benefits in terms of value and the quality of the work. However, there’s also a big potential catch.

Every subcontractor your chosen contractor hires must perform at the same high level to provide you with reliable, top-notch results. Maintaining this kind of workmanship standard can be challenging for the average company without proper management.

But it’s not at Elite Construction. We expect nothing but the best from our in-house staff and specialized subcontractors. What’s more, we have systems in place to ensure that our expectations are met on every single residential and commercial project!

That includes quality control officers and regular site visits. It also includes mandatory safety and progress reporting.

Subcontracting Vs. In-House Construction And Roofing

Want to know a secret? Almost all established construction and roofing companies in Colorado rely on subcontractors. That’s the term for third-party companies that tackle specific trades for general contractors.

Some companies try to hide the fact that they outsource work. That’s largely true because subcontractors don’t have the best public image.

But Colorado law heavily encourages this approach. Plus, there are some very real advantages to choosing a Denver-area contractor who relies on these dedicated teams of roofers, siders, etc.

However, if a company’s going to use subcontractors, they’d better have high professional standards for each and every specialized crew. They also need a way to ensure those standards are always met.

At Elite Construction, we combine a core in-house staff with top-tier subcontractors from throughout the local region. We also take multiple steps to ensure that the crews who work for us meet our ironclad standards for exceptional workmanship.

Our Roofing And Construction Workmanship Standards

When subcontractors are on the job, they’re independently responsible for the quality of the work they provide. They should also be accountable to you and the contractor who hired them.

However, unless clear guidelines are provided, it’s easy for a subcontractor to let little things slide. These issues may not seem like much by themselves. But together, they can seriously degrade the quality of the workmanship you receive.

At Elite Construction, we’re committed to ensuring this never happens. Every subcontractor who works for us must be fully licensed and insured. They must also have extensive, demonstrated experience in their particular specialty.

But that’s not all. Everyone who works for us must agree to follow the in-house process we use to maintain our premium workmanship standards. This process includes steps such as:

  • Morning and evening check-ins with the home office
  • Site checks by our in-house project managers
  • In-progress photos of the work they’re doing
  • Completion photos at the end of each job
  • Walkthroughs of the completed project

They must also agree to address any concerns that come up during the project walkthrough. Failure to meet these standards simply isn’t acceptable.

This kind of oversight isn’t the norm. It’s the exception. Regardless of the size of their operation, most contractors don’t provide or require it.

We think it’s absolutely essential. But it’s not the only step we take to ensure that our workmanship standards live up to our name.

An Ongoing Competition For Remodeling Excellence

Many of our Denver-area remodeling subcontractors have been working with us for years. We benefit from their expertise, and they benefit from their connection to a stable company that does things the right way.

But this connection must be earned. No matter how long they’ve worked with us, all our subcontractors must continue to come through on job after job. If their workmanship standards decline, we have to part ways.

Aren’t we worried about finding new subcontractors to take their place? No. Our standing in the industry allows us to maintain ready access to an exceptional pool of local talent.

This competitive approach not only helps us remain at the top of our profession. It makes it possible for us to deliver superior results time and time again.

Ready for us to provide these kinds of results on your local project? Contact Elite Construction today for your free estimate. We’re happy to show you exactly what it takes to maintain construction and roofing excellence in any situation!
